2. If you are using Windows 10, you may need to add the following patch from Silabs.  Microsoft removed the ability for devices to be recognised so an update maybe required.

This page has a list of download links for the driver depending on the OS being run ( The first couple are for Win 10 and Win 7 so they’ll likely need one of those).

After downloading the file, run it to install the drivers and then try plugging in our device (you may have to wait a few seconds after plugging in the PAP for Windows to finish the driver installation – Windows will put up a message if this is happening). After that, it should be good to go.

If the driver install fails using this method, then it might be because some security or admin privilege issue is blocking the process. In that case, you’d need an IT/admin person to run the install.
